Ten years ago, I was dreaming about moving to Spain.

What about you? Where are you right now? Maybe you’re sitting at your desk, feeling overworked and burnt-out, and daydreaming about finally packing up and moving to Europe. But when you start researching the amount of preparation and logistics that a move abroad actually entails, you slam your laptop shut, have a slight freak out, and decide it was a crazy idea in the first place (I’ve been there, too)!

But, if my story and my clients’ experiences are any indication, your dream of moving abroad is not crazy (or okay, maybe slightly crazy in the best way!).

Moving to Europe is absolutely possible for you, and I’m here to help you get there.

Hi, I’m McKenna. I made my own dream of moving to Europe a reality in 2014, and I’ve lived abroad ever since.

After graduating from Yale University in 2014, I knew I wanted to live a life that felt authentic to me, even if it looked different than the lives of everyone else around me. To that end, I moved to Spain on the Fulbright scholarship after college, and over the past decade, I’ve made Europe my home. I’ve done the research and I’ve gone through the overwhelm of bureaucracy, requirements, and “lost in translation” moments - so now you don’t have to.

Since 2016, I’ve helped more than 150 fellow Americans make the move to Europe, too. From finding an apartment, to opening a bank account, to extending your residence permit, or even applying for citizenship, I’ve been there, and I’ve got your back.

So what have I been actually doing while living here? Thankfully, European countries truly embrace work-life balance (hello, six weeks of PTO per year). So I’ve had time to have fun. In my spare time I like to travel (surprise!), attend music festivals and concerts (seeing Enrique Iglesias in Bulgaria was a personal favorite), and enjoy leisurely mornings discovering the best spots for breakfast in Madrid.

But it hasn’t all been smooth sailing. I’ve had to live with coworkers after fleeing an apartment in Madrid. I’ve had my fair share of emergency room visits in various countries. I’ve had my immigration documents returned to me in shreds  - the list goes on!

The good news is that you don’t have to learn the hard way like I did.

Working with me means having a go-to consultant, mentor, and friend to lead you from the very first phase of researching your move through the entire visa application process, all the way to the move itself and getting settled in your new home in Europe.

I take the overwhelm and confusion out of the process, so that living and thriving in Europe can be your new reality.

A few of my favorite places in Europe (it was hard to choose just four!)

01

Madrid, Spain

Madrid, and Spain in general, will always be home to me.

I moved to Madrid as a Fulbright Scholar, and I stayed for four years to work at the Fulbright Commission, where I helped hundreds of Americans move to Spain.

Monopoli, Italy

I explored Monopoli, in the southern Italian region of Puglia, while on an adventure of a lifetime acquiring my Italian ancestors’ vital records.

Whether you’re interested in getting a visa for Italy or even Italian citizenship, I can help.

02

Mallorca, Spain

You know you’ve become European when you spend part of your summer vacation (typically 4 weeks straight), in Mallorca.

But, if you want the Mediterranean lifestyle all year round, I can also help you move there.

04

Athens, Greece

A perk of living in Europe is that even quick work trips might take you to exciting new locations.

While living in Sweden, I had the chance to go on a week-long work trip to Greece.
