Admit it: You want to move to Europe.
Maybe you’ve started researching ways to move there, or already know that you will be moving there, but as soon as you start reading about the visa process, opening a bank account, and finding an apartment, you feel completely overwhelmed.
But even though you don’t know where to start, your dream of moving abroad never goes away.
And no, you don’t just want to move there to live out a Lizzie McGuire Movie or Emily in Paris montage (though if you do end up exploring Rome on an Italian pop star’s Vespa, honestly great work). You want to move there, work there or study there, and yes, live your best life there. And that’s where I come in - to help you move to Europe as your relocation consultant.
Imagine if you could say goodbye to:
1
Frantic, late-night Google searches about visa requirements you missed
2
Putting your dream of moving to Europe on hold for another year - or more
3
Feeling like you are alone in the process of moving to Europe
The sooner I start helping you with the logistics of your move, the sooner you can become a European happiness statistic:

*Okay this last one is not based on scientific research, but it is based on my personal observations from living here since 2014.
Europeans just know how to live life, and the rest of us should start taking notes.*

McKenna Keyes, Relocation consultant with more than a decade of experience.
After graduating from Yale University in 2014, I knew I wanted to live a life that felt authentic to me, even if it looked different than the lives of everyone else around me. To that end, I moved to Spain on the Fulbright scholarship after college, and over the past decade, I’ve made Europe my home. I’ve done the research and I’ve gone through the overwhelm of bureaucracy, requirements, and “lost in translation” moments - so now you don’t have to.
Not only am I living proof that I know how to successfully move to Europe and live a fulfilling life here, but I am proud to say that since 2016 I have helped hundreds of Americans successfully move to Europe. Your story could be next.

Frequently Asked Questions

Unless you are already a citizen of an EU/EEA country, you will need a visa/residence permit to live in any Schengen area country for more than 90 days in a 180 day period. (Also, if that sentence’s terminology sounds confusing to you, that is why hiring a relocation consultant can be so helpful! I explain all that terminology for you so that it is easy to understand.) If you were able to enter a European country without a visa before, I’m willing to bet that is because you were just there on vacation for less than 90 days (and even then, you were considered by the EU to be on a tourist visa, but U.S. citizens are exempt from applying for a tourist visa).
The short answer: Yes. If you want to live, study, work, do anything in a European (Schengen) country for more than 90 days, then you need a visa. And the type of visa you need will depend on your plans for what you want to do in the European country you move to.

Yes! I have regularly worked with families and couples throughout my career to help them move and start a new adventure in Europe together.
This includes helping identify international schools for the kids and helping both partners apply for the correct visa according to their situations. If one spouse is moving for work, I support the spouse who is moving on the “dependent visa” understand their options in terms of employment, studies, etc.
Also, families and couples enjoy a discount on my 1:1 consulting package! For example, instead of a couple having to pay full-price for both people, packages for couples start at $4500 - that’s 25% off! There are additional discounts for assisting in children’s visas.

Absolutely! I love helping clients decide what European country or city is the best fit for them and their goals. After living in three European countries and traveling to 18 (and counting!), I have a strong knowledge of various European countries. We will work together to find the best option for you.

Each person’s situation is unique, and my consulting package is tailored to each client I work with for that reason. Because the visa process alone tends to take a few months, though times always vary, that is why I’ve made my consulting package follow a six-month timeline.
My consulting package focuses on the visa for the first 3 months, and then the second 3 months are to guide you through the rest of the logistical challenges you might face as you prepare to move, such as opening a bank account, finding housing, cell phone plans, etc.
I love assisting clients after they move, too! In that case, you would continue working with me for another 6-month period after your move, in which I would help support you through the challenges (and joys!) that come from transitioning to a new life abroad.

Yes! In fact, more and more European countries are offering remote work or “digital nomad” visas. Some countries that offer or will soon begin offering these visas include: Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Malta, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Iceland, Montenegro, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, the list goes on…

I do help with citizenship applications! As a proud dual US-EU citizen and having gone through the citizenship process myself, I would be happy to help you explore what possibilities might be available to you either through ancestry or residency.
